Konica Minolta began life in 1873 selling photographic and lithographic materials. In 1903 they began selling their own brand name camera. They remained in the solely photographic industry until 1960 when Minolta released its first copier the Copymaster. From 1970 through to 2000 Konica and Minolta released a series of groundbreaking cameras.
In 2000 Konica Minolta was formed as a joint manufacturing venture. In 2007 they withdrew from the camera manufacturing business to concentrate on printers and photocopiers. Their bizhub range of colour and mono MFP’s has been a worldwide success.
